Fees & Sessions

Full and part time places are available with session times as follows:

Morning session: 7:30am–1pm
Afternoon session: 1:00pm–6:00pm

Fees are payable monthly in advance and for your convenience we operate a standing order system. Fees are calculated so that you pay the same payment each month.

We offer two weeks [pro rata] holiday each year at a 50% reduction and this is calculated into the fee structure so you will be charged for 51 weeks divided by 12 months and this is your monthly payment.

A retainer of two weeks fees is payable to reserve a nursery place.

A 10% discount is offered for a second child attending the nursery.

Fees are reviewed annually in March.

Child Tax Credits

9 out of 10 families are eligible for financial help depending on their circumstances. Families with income of up to £40,000 a year could be eligible to claim up to 80% of the cost of childcare.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare vouchers are part of a little known Government scheme, which can save many parents with children over £1,000 a year. It needs to be offered via employers. The key is it enables you to pay for childcare out of your PRE-TAX income and the benefit can be huge.

Pre-School funding for 3 and 4 year olds

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitiled to part time pre school education and Abbey Nursery have been commissioned by Renfrewshire Council to provide this for a limited number of children each year. Your child will be eligible for this the month following their third birthday. If your application is successful then the grant recieved will be deducted from your monthly fee.
