About Us
Abbey Nursery, established in 1997, is a custom built facility offering high quality education and day care. Our aim is to ensure that a safe, high quality provision is offered to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
We operate from 7.30am until 6.00pm and are open throughout the year with exception of the statutory holidays.
Full and part time places are available with session times as follows:
Morning session 7.30am—12.30pm
Afternoon session 1.00pm—6.00pm
There are 4 childcare rooms, the Young Baby Room for children aged 6 weeks to 1 year, the Baby Room for children aged 1-2, Toddler Room for the 2-3 year old children and Pre School Rooms for 3-5 year olds.
Staff have been involved in designing and planning our purpose built facility to maximise your child’s potential for learning in a happy, stimulating, safe and secure environment.
We believe that we can best meet the needs of individual children by working closely with parents and carers. We aim to develop partnership between parent/carers and staff which is based on mutual trust and respect, promoting the sharing of information and knowledge for the benefit of all children in our care. We recognise the importance of continuity of care for our children and, therefore, each child has their own key worker, who will liaise closely with you to ensure that your child is happy and settled.
